WHAT SHOULD WE WEAR?

I get this question all the time! I love when couples show their own individual style. Whether you want to dress fancy, casual, or both, I want these photos to reflect who you are! If you are having a hard time deciding on what to wear, you can’t go wrong with classic neutral colors. White, black, and tan are always going to be good options no matter what.

how many outfits can we bring?

It depends on the length of your session and how many locations we go to! You just want to keep in mind the time it will take for your outfit changes along with the time traveling between locations. Here is the best way to look at it:

2-hour session with 2 locations = 2 outfits (3 maximum)

2-hour session with 1 location = 2 - 3 outfits

1-hour session with 2 locations = 1 outfit (2 maximum)

1-hour sessions with 1 location = 2 outfits

CAN WE BRING OUR PET(s)?

Yes! I encourage people to bring their pets if they feel up to it. I highly recommend having a friend or family member tag along to look after your pet during and once they are done taking photos. I usually will try to take all pictures of you and your pet at the very start of the session so that they can be excused and don’t get overwhelmed by photos.

DO YOU POSE US?

Yes! It is my job to pose and direct you guys. I have a bunch of fun go-to poses and prompts that I will run through with you! If you have anything specific that you want to try out, just let me know!

DO WE NEED TO BRING ANYTHING else?

You don’t need to bring anything except for your smiles and your outfit(s)! Bringing props like blankets, champagne, flowers, signs, or anything else that is meaningful to you is always allowed but not required.

HOW LONG BEFORE WE receive OUR finished photos?

Turnaround time varies slightly based on the time of year and our current editing workload. We are often shooting multiple sessions per week and weddings many weekends throughout the year. We always strive to bring you the best quality edits and overall final product. We always seek to balance consistency, quality, and timeliness for every session. Unless there are special circumstances agreed upon prior, the average turnaround time for an engagement session is roughly between 2.5 - 3 weeks.
