NATE

(Owner // Lead Photographer // Editor)

My name is Nathaniel Jensen, but you can call me Nate! I am a full-time wedding & portrait photographer born and raised in Omaha, Nebraska. I have a degree in Business Administration with a focus on Marketing & Management from UNO. While my passion is for photography, I am dedicated to operating a good, people-first business. I live in Omaha, but I will travel anywhere my camera takes me.

Since 2017, I have been lucky enough to photograph hundreds of weddings, engagements, and other sessions. From the first time I picked up my camera, meeting new people and telling their stories has been my jam. I fell in love with taking photos because of the connection it creates between the person in front of the camera and the photographer behind it. That is the magic of photography for me. I truly care about people and the individual stories they have to tell. I strive to make every person feel completely comfortable and absolutely authentic. I love making people laugh, so you can fully expect me to be my normal goofy self during a shoot and get everyone feeling their best!

I am an artist at heart.  I love playing guitar, writing music, and watching a good film. I watched Star Wars (the original trilogy) just about every day as a kid, and I still get really excited when a new movie or show comes out. I also love gaming, cooking, petting our dogs, and traveling to new places.

I cannot wait to get to know you and help you capture your most precious moments!

LOIS

Meet Lois! The PB to our J. The Holly Flax to our Michael Scott. She is the secret sauce that keeps everything sailing smoothly. She does it all - from photo editing, to second shooting, to making sure our social media and website are up-to-date. She is an invaluable part of our team because everything she does grants us the ability to give you the best service possible.

Aside from slaying her job on the daily, she is also a national powerlifting competitor and a health and fitness guru. She is driven by good music, food, books, and dog pets. She’s the best dog mom to our Goldendoodle (April) and the best life/business partner on the planet.

Name a more iconic duo… I’ll wait!

OUR WEDDING PHILOSOPHY

Choosing your wedding photographer is a unique opportunity because your photos are one of the very few permanent things that you’ll get to keep from your wedding day. Once the last song fades at the reception, the decorations are packed in the car, and the flowers wilt, what is left of the day but a fleeting memory?

We know that everyone has an important story to tell. We want to tell that story by keeping it real. That means showing true-to-life colors, being true to the emotions of the day, and being true to who you are. These are the memories that you and your family will cherish for generations to come, and we take that very seriously.

When it comes to photography, I always think of my grandmother. Growing up, she was the person who could talk to you for hours on end. She had a wealth of knowledge and history, and she liked to share her stories with everyone she came across - especially her family. Her stories were often sparked by a memory from an old photograph. Unfortunately, later in her life, she suffered a stroke which greatly impacted her ability to verbally communicate. But even though she couldn’t tell the stories like she used to, there is still the same spark in her eyes when she shows off those photos. It’s a feeling of joy from a glimpse into the past, and the ability to still share her memories with her loved ones through imagery.

That is our mission and our promise to you: To create timeless and artful images that you can look at any time and with any person and be transported back to that exact moment. To preserve your story, not just for you, but for your children, grandchildren, and beyond.
